MID 134 - CID 3323 - FMI 11
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
This diagnostic code becomes active when the software detects that the left medium range object detection sensor with the incorrect internal resistance. The sensor has a software key that is sent to the display during start-up of the system.
System Response:
The object detection system is disabled. The status indicator for the system will illuminate red. The system will reactivate when the proper key is received from the object detection sensor.
Test Step 1. CHECK THE PART NUMBER OF THE SENSOR
- Check the part number of the sensor that was replaced.
Expected Result:
The sensor part number should be the same as the sensor that was replaced.
Results:
- YES - Possible internal sensor failure. Contact your Technical Communicator for a possible consultation with Caterpillar.
STOP
- NO - The sensor is a different part number.
Repair: Replace the sensor with the correct part number.
