Introduction
This Special Instruction provides rework procedure for 3E-5184 Secondary Steering Electronic Control Module which is direct replacement of 132-6640 Secondary Steering Electronic Control Module . The wiring connector will need to be replaced, when used on the machines listed above.
Do not perform any procedure in this Special Instruction until have read this Special Instruction and you understand this information.

Installation Procedure
The following steps are guidelines to modify the 3E-5184 Secondary Steering Electronic Control Module to replace the 132-6640 Secondary Steering Electronic Control Module . The operation of the control module remains unchanged.
- Take 3E-5184 and remove 9G-3668 Plug Housing and 7N-9738 Receptacle Housing . Cut the wire at a distance of 315mm (total wire length is 330mm) from the Control Assembly.

- Strip the wires and attach 8T-8729 Connector Pin to all 11 wires coming out of Control As.
- Make the harness as a bundle by using four 1S-9593 Cable Straps at 75 mm (3 inch), 150 mm (6 inch), 225 mm (9 inch), and 300 mm (12 inch) from the Control As.
- Insert the pins to Receptacle As. as shown in the wire table 2 below:
