Start By:
- Lower the guard for the transmission. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly , "Power Train Guard (Transmission) - Remove".
- Remove the rear drive shaft if additional clearance is necessary. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly , "Drive Shaft (Rear) - Remove and Install".

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
Note: Cap all hydraulic lines and fittings that are disconnected in order to prevent oil loss. This will also keep contaminants out of the hydraulic system.
- Drain the oil in the pump drive into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission Oil - (Change)".

Illustration 1 g01481294 - The transmission oil pump is located on the front left side of the pump drive. Loosen clamps (1) and slide hose (2) onto tube assembly (3).
