Crankshaft Pulley - Remove and Install
Start By:
- Remove the fan guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Guard - Remove and Install".

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Remove the belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust".

Illustration 1 g01253187 - Remove bolts (1). Remove thrust block (2).
- Remove pulley (3).
- Position pulley (3).
- Lubricate the threads and the shoulder of bolts (1). Position thrust block (2) and install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) evenly to a final torque of
115 N·m (85 lb ft) . - Install the belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust".
