Rotation ... Clockwise

(1) Torque for the eight bolts ... 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft)

(2) Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the five bolts.

(3) Lubricate the rolling and sliding surfaces of the bearing lightly with clean hydraulic oil.

(4) Lubricate the rolling and sliding surfaces of the roller bearing race lightly with clean hydraulic oil.

(5) Lubricate the rolling and sliding surfaces of the pump barrel assembly lightly with clean hydraulic oil.

(6) Torque for the four O-ring plugs ... 90 ± 15 N·m (65 ± 11 lb ft)

(7) Lubricate the rolling and sliding surfaces of the nine pistons lightly with clean hydraulic oil.

(8) Lubricate the rolling and sliding surfaces of the retainer plate lightly with clean hydraulic oil.

(9) Lubricate the rolling and sliding surfaces of the swashplate lightly with clean hydraulic oil.

(10) Lubricate the rolling and sliding surfaces of the special race bearing lightly with clean hydraulic oil. Assemble the snap ring of the bearing toward the shaft flange.

(11) Lubricate the rolling and sliding surfaces of the retainer assembly lightly with clean hydraulic oil.

(12) Lubricate the lip seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(13) Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the three bolts.
