Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contamination of the hydraulic system with foreign material will reduce the service life of the hydraulic system components. To prevent contaminants from entering the hydraulic system, always plug or cap the lines, fittings, or hoses as they are disconnected. Cover any disassembled components and clean them properly before assembly. Clean the hydraulic system properly after any major component exchange or especially after a component failure, to remove any contamination. |
- Lower the temperature of bearing cups (9) and (8) . Install bearing cups (9) and (8) . Use Tooling (C) to install Duo-Cone seal (7) onto the wheel assembly.

- Install retainer assembly (4) . Use Tooling (C) to install Duo-Cone seal (5) . Install bearing cone (6) .

- Attach a suitable lifting device onto wheel assembly (2) . The weight of wheel assembly (2) is approximately 1678 kg (3700 lb).

- Position wheel assembly (2) onto the machine. Attach Tooling (B) in order to prevent tire movement.
- Install bearing cone (3) .
- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to fender (1) . The weight of fender (1) is approximately 127 kg (280 lb). Install fender (1) .
