(1) Torque for the pipe plug ... 45 ± 6 N·m (33 ± 4 lb ft)
(2) Torque for 32 bolts ... 300 ± 40 N·m (220 ± 30 lb ft)
(3) Apply 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant to the mating parts before assembly.
(4) Torque for 12 bolts ... 120 ± 20 N·m (90 ± 15 lb ft)
(5) 9C-5049 Sleeve Bearing
- Inside diameter ... 102.44 ± 0.18 mm (4.033 ± 0.007 inch)
- Outside diameter ... 114.78 ± 0.08 mm (4.519 ± 0.003 inch)
(6) Rubber toric seals and all surfaces in contact with the seals must be clean and dry at assembly. Apply a thin layer of oil on the surfaces of the metal seals that are in contact just before installation. The metal seal must be assembled square with the bore. The rubber toric seals must not bulge. The rubber toric seals must not be twisted.
(7) Install the lip type seal with the edge toward the inside surface of the pinion housing.
(8) 9C-5048 Sleeve Bearing
- Inside diameter ... 158.430 ± 0.010 mm (6.2374 ± 0.0004 inch)
- Outside diameter ... 173.95 ± 0.13 mm (6.848 ± 0.005 inch)
(9) Torque for the oil level gauge assembly ... 45 ± 6 N·m (33 ± 4 lb ft)
