Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Apply Tooling (A) on the threads of the mounting studs for the turbocharger.
- Position gasket (7) and turbocharger (5) on the exhaust manifold. Install locknuts (6) .

- Tighten the locknuts to a torque of 54 ± 5 N·m (40 ± 4 lb ft).
- Connect tube assembly (3) and tube assembly (2) .

- Connect hose (4) and hose (1) .
- Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
