Installation Procedure

1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to pulley (15). The weight of pulley (15) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).

2. Install pulley (15) and the fan clutch assembly with bolts (20).

3. Connect tube assemblies (19), (18), and (17).

4. Connect connector (16).

5. Slide pulley (15) backward.

6. Install bolts (14).

7. Attach a suitable lifting device to fan (13). The weight of the fan is approximately 79 kg (175 lb).

8. Install fan (13) with the washers and mounting bolts (12).

9. Install fan guard (10) with bolts (11).

10. Install support (3).

12. Install fan guards (4) and (8).

13. Connect water hoses (9), (6), and (5).

14. Connect water hose assembly (7).

15. Loosen belt tightener (1).

16. Place fan drive belts (2) on the pulley.

17. Release belt tightener (1).

    Refill the cooling system coolant. The capacity of the cooling system coolant is approximately 132 L (34.9 US gal). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7244, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
