Start By:
- Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove".
At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure. Steam can cause personal injury. Check the coolant level only after the engine has been stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure. Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes to prevent personal injury. |

Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
Drain the cooling system coolant into a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the cooling system coolant is approximately
- Loosen belt tightener (1).
- Move fan drive belts (2) aside.
- Release belt tightener (1).

- Disconnect water hose assembly (7).
- Remove fan guards (4) and (8).
- Remove support (3).

- Remove mounting bolts (12) and the washers.
- Remove fan (13) with a suitable lifting device. The weight of the fan is approximately
79 kg (175 lb) . - Place fan (13) on the sand blast grid.
Note: If the machine is not equipped with a sand blast grid then cover the radiator cores with a protective covering.

- Slide pulley (15) forward in order to disconnect the tubes.

- Disconnect tube assemblies (17), (18), and (19).

- Remove bolts (20).
- Remove pulley (15) and the fan clutch assembly with Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device. The weight of pulley (14) is approximately
