Window Wiper Motor (Rear) - Remove

Removal Procedure

Note: Put identification marks on all lines, hoses, wires, and tubes for installation purposes.

  1. Remove six bolts (1). Remove grill (2) .

  1. Move the battery disconnect switch to the OFF. Disconnect both battery terminals.

  1. Raise cover (4) on wiper arm (3) .

  1. Remove nut (5) from shaft (7) .

  1. Remove hose (6) from wiper arm (3) .

  1. Remove wiper arm (3) from shaft (7) .

  1. Remove cover (8) from shaft (7) .

  1. Remove nut (9) from shaft (7) .

  1. Remove two screws (10). Remove filter (11) .

  1. Remove four torx screws (12) from cover (13) .

  1. Remove one Torx screw (14) from the right side of cover (13) .

  1. Remove two Torx screws (15) from the left side of cover (13) .

  1. Remove cover (13) .

  1. Disconnect electrical connector (16) from wiper motor assembly (17) .

  1. Remove two bolts (18). Remove wiper motor assembly (17) .

  1. Loosen bolt (19) on arm (20). Remove arm (20) from the shaft of window wiper motor (21) .

  1. Remove three bolts (22). Remove window wiper motor (21) from wiper motor assembly (17) .
