Hydraulic System Oil Sample - Obtain

The hydraulic system is not equipped with an oil sampling valve. Obtaining an oil sample will require a vacuum pump or the equivalent in order to withdraw the oil from the hydraulic tank.
Operate the machine and the hydraulic controls for a few minutes before you obtain the oil sample. This will thoroughly mix the hydraulic oil for a more accurate sample. Slowly remove the hydraulic tank filler cap in order to relieve any pressure. Withdraw the oil through the hydraulic oil filler tube.
