Engine Oil Level - Check

Usage:

525 1DN


NOTICE

Do not under fill or overfill engine crankcase with oil. Either condition can cause engine damage.


Note: An accurate measurement of the engine oil level cannot be obtained while the engine is running. Only use the "ENGINE RUNNING" side of the engine oil dipstick to ensure that there is adequate oil for engine operation. Do not add oil while the engine is running.

  1. Park the machine on level ground and stop the engine. Wait for 20 minutes so that all of the engine oil can return to the oil pan.

  1. Remove the engine access cover on the left side of the machine.

  1. Maintain the engine oil within the marks on the "ENGINE STOPPED" side of engine oil dipstick (2) .

  1. Remove engine oil filler cap (1) and add oil through the filler tube, if necessary.

  1. Install the engine access cover.
