613C Series II Wheel Tractor-Scraper Machine Systems Caterpillar

Installation Procedure

1. Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

2. Install the ejector to the scraper bowl. The ejector weighs 508 kg (1120 lb) .

3. Use a hoist to move the ejector to the rear of the scraper bowl. Install the ejector support rollers into the track assembly.

4. Install bar (10) and two bolts (9) to the scraper bowl. Repeat the procedure for the other side of the scraper bowl.

5. Install roller shaft (8) and guide roller (7) to bracket (6) . Install bolt (5) to bracket (6) . Adjust the guide roller. Refer to Owner's Manual, SEBU6447 for information on adjusting the guide roller. Tighten bolt (5) .

6. Use a soft faced hammer to install pin (4) to ejector (3) .

7. Remove the cribbing from the ejector cylinder. Remove the nylon lifting strap and the hoist from the ejector.

8. Install plate (2) and three bolts (1) to ejector (3) .
