Ejector - Remove

Usage:

613C II 8LJ

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the elevator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Elevator - Remove". The information is in this manual.

  1. Move the ejector to the front of the scraper bowl.

  1. Remove three bolts (1) and plate (2) from ejector (3) .

  1. Place suitable cribbing under the ejector cylinder, as shown.

  1. Attach a lifting chain and a hoist to the ejector. Use a hammer and a brass rod to remove pin (4) from ejector (3) .

  1. Remove bolt (5) from bracket (6) . Remove guide roller (7) and roller shaft (8) from bracket (6) . Repeat the procedure for the other side of the ejector.

  1. Remove two bolts (9) and bar (10) from the scraper bowl. Repeat the procedure for the other side of the scraper bowl.

  1. Use a hoist to move the ejector forward in order to remove the ejector support roller from the track assembly.

  1. Remove the ejector from the scraper bowl. The ejector weighs 508 kg (1120 lb) .
