Remove the Alternator Belt

1. Remove four bolts (1) and six bolts (2) . Remove fan shroud (3) .

2. Remove six bolts (5) and lay fan (4) against the radiator.

   Note: Use care when you are laying the fan against the radiator in order to prevent damage to the radiator.

3. Loosen bolt (7) .

4. Loosen nut (6) in order to relieve the tension on alternator belt (8) . Remove alternator belt (8) .

Install the Alternator Belt

1. Replace alternator belt (8) . Adjust tension on alternator belt (8) . Tighten nut (6) .

   Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7115-01, "Alternator and Fan Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace" for the correct belt tension.

2. Tighten bolt (7) .

3. Put fan (4) into position and install six bolts (5) .

4. Put fan shroud (3) into position and install six bolts (2) and four bolts (1) .
