(2) Installation torque for valve ... 70 ± 15 N·m (50 ± 11 lb ft)

(3) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-seize Compound to the threads of the four bolts. Tightening torque for four bolts ... 620 ± 80 N·m (460 ± 60 lb ft)

(4) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-seize Compound to the pin bores.

(5) Tightening torque for four bolts ... 54 N·m (40 lb ft)

Hammer lock (B) in place with 5P-3931 Anti-seize Compound .

Tightening torque for four bolts (5) ... 70 ± 15 N·m (52 ± 11 lb ft)

(6) Tightening torque for 12 bolts ... 135 ± 15 N·m (100 ± 11 lb ft)

(7) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-seize Compound to the bulkhead and to four points on the pins.

(8) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-seize Compound to the drive shaft bore.

(9) All the surfaces that are contacting the rubber toric seals must be clean and dry at assembly.

Before assembly, apply a thin film of oil to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings.

The seal rings must be assembled square with the bore and with the toric seal. The seal rings must not have any bulges or twists.

Refer to the Installation Instructions for 6Y-0300 Conventional Duo-Cone Seal Assemblies .

Note: Lubricate all other seals with SAE 30W oil.

(10) Tightening torque for 24 plugs ... 55 ± 7 N·m (41 ± 5 lb ft)

(11) Tightening torque for two plugs ... 170 ± 20 N·m (125 ± 15 lb ft)

(12) At assembly, the oil hole on the plug end of the shaft should be facing upward.
