- Remove bolts (1) and remove valve mechanism cover (2) .

- Remove the seal from valve mechanism cover (2) .

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Cut the seal to length. Apply Tooling (A) on both sides of the seal joint. Install the seal.
- Position valve mechanism cover (2) .

- Install bolts (1). Tighten the bolts in a numerical sequence to a torque of 12 ± 3 N·m (105 ± 25 lb in).
