Problem:
The 163-5504 Disc used in the 164-6425 and 166-6755 Lines Gp - Pilot has been reported to be breaking and falling out of the joystick hold control friction mechanism.
Solution:
For service replacement of the 163-5504 Disc, order and modify the 8G-1119 Disc. See illustration. The discs are dimensionally identical with the exception of the inner diameter. The 8G-1119 Disc is made of a flexible material that will not break. The 163-5504 Disc is brittle.
