There is some confusion in the field about whether calibration of the transmission clutch engagement pressures can be performed with Electronic Technician (ET).
Solution:
The calibration can only be performed with the 4C-8195 Control Service Tool (referred to as the "switch box" or "clicker box"). Refer to the calibration procedure in the Testing and Adjusting section of the appropriate manual referenced above. This calibration cannot be performed with ET. Caterpillar Engineering is currently developing the valve calibration capability for ET. This enhancement will be announced in a future Service Magazine article when the upgrade becomes available.
