Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Position water pump (4) in the front housing. Install bolts (5).
- Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seal on adapter (12).
- Position water pump cover (6) on adapter (12). Install bolts (10).
- Install the O-ring seal on oil cooler bonnet (11). Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seal on the oil cooler bonnet.
- Position oil cooler bonnet (11) and integral seal (8) on water pump (4). Install bolts (9).
- Connect hose assembly (7) to the oil cooler bonnet.
- Install the O-ring seal on bypass elbow (3). Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seal on the bypass elbow.
- Position bypass elbow (3) and gasket (2) on the cover assembly. Install bolts (1).
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
