Usage:
start by:
a) remove hood
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system.
2. Remove the right and left side panels.
3. Remove fan guard (3) and top fan shield (2) on the left side of the radiator.
4. Remove two bolts and washers and disconnect pipe (1) and oil line.
5. Remove the bolts that hold the front section of the crankcase guard and remove crankcase guard (6).
6. Fasten a hoist to the radiator and guard after the installation of two 3/8"-16 NC forged eyebolts in the top of the radiator.
7. Remove three bolts (4) and lockwashers from each side of the guard.
8. Remove three bolts (5) and lockwashers from the front of the radiator.
9. Remove bottom fan shield (7) from the left side of the radiator.
10. Remove two bolts and disconnect pipe (8) under the radiator. Disconnect the oil line from under the radiator.
11. With a hoist fastened to eyebolts in the top of the radiator remove radiator and guard (9) as a unit. Weight of the radiator and guard is 650 lb. (293 kg).
Install Radiator And Guard
1. Fasten a hoist to radiator and guard (1).
2. Put the radiator and guard in position on the frame.
3. Install the bolts and lockwashers that hold the radiator and guard in position. Remove the hoist.
4. Connect pipe (3) under the radiator with two bolts.
5. Connect oil line (2) to the left side of the radiator as shown.
6. Install the lower left shield on the radiator and install the front section of the crankcase guard.
7. Connect pipe (4) to the radiator with two bolts and lockwashers.
8. Connect oil line (5) to the radiator and install the top left fan shield and fan guards on the radiator.
9. Install the right and left side panels.
10. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.
