- Lubricate all components of the rocker shaft with clean engine oil.

Illustration 1 g01145945 - Install inlet rocker arm (2), spring (3), exhaust rocker arm (4), and stand (5) on rocker arm shaft (1).
- Use Tooling (A) to install retaining ring (6).
End By:
- Install the rocker arm and shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rocker Arm and Shaft - Install".
