Rocker Arm and Shaft - Remove
Start By:
- Remove the valve mechanism cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly , "Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install".

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Loosen nuts (3) and adjustment screws (2) in order to release the tension on valve mechanism group (5).
- Remove bolts (1) and the valve mechanism group from the cylinder head. Put an identification mark on the valve mechanism group for installation purposes.
- Remove pushrods (4) from the cylinder head. Put an identification mark on the pushrods for installation purposes.
