An Improved Stub Shaft is Used for Engines with Dual Vibration Dampers {1237, 5569}

Description of Change: An improved stub shaft is available for engines with dual vibration dampers. The new stub shaft is more resilient to side loads that are exerted against the stub shaft.
Adaptable To: The new 236-8812 Stub Shaft is a direct replacement for the 4P-5237 Stub Shaft which is cancelled. The new stub shaft is adaptable to all of the above engines that are equipped with a dual vibration damper.
Note: The maximum static side load on the stub shaft with the use of pulleys is 890 N (200 lb) per 3/4 inch belt. The total maximum static side load on the stub shaft is 17793 N (4000 lb). Exceeding the 17793 N (4000 lb) static side load limit could cause the shaft to fail.
