Glow Plugs - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the fuel injection lines, if necessary. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Injection Lines - Remove and Install".
- Remove nuts (1) and washers (2) from bus bar (3) on glow plugs (4) .

- Remove bus bar (3) from glow plugs (4) .
- Remove glow plugs (4) from the cylinder head.
Installation Procedure
- Install glow plugs (4) in the cylinder head. Tighten the glow plugs to a torque of 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

- Install bus bar (3) on glow plugs (4) .
- Install washers (2) and nuts (1) on glow plugs (4). Tighten nuts (1) to a torque of 1.2 N·m (11 lb in).
End By: Install the fuel injection lines, if necessary. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Injection Lines - Remove and Install".
