Usage:
NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1339" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1339" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
The bail on HEUI equipped 637E and 657E Tractors will drop suddenly when the engine is shut down with the bail in the raised position. Also, on engine start up if the cushion hitch switch is in the down position and the bail switch is in the raise position the bail will raise as soon as oil pressure is built up.

Rework Procedure
The parts for 637E and 657E are the same. The rework procedures for each model follows:
Procedure to add control group (relay) to bail electrical system.
Instructions To Rework 657E
1. Disconnect the batteries.
2. Open right front dash panel.
3. Disconnect wiring connector from the bail switch and remove the bail switch. The switch will not be reused.
4. Connect 3E0109 Plug As. to bail switch wiring connector.
5. See Illustration #1 for splicing Harness As. 148-7570 to existing cab harness.
NOTE: Do not remove 366PK Wire from cushion hitch switch connector, only splice into 366PK.
6. Install Switch As. 139-2114 in right front dash panel and connect to Harness As. 148-7570.
7. Connect 106-9188 Control Group to Harness As. 148-7570 and secure control group to existing cab harness with 7K1181 Strap.
8. Open right side panel connect 148RD Wire per Illustration #1.
9. Close right side panel and front right side panel.
10. Connect batteries.
Instructions To Rework 637E
1. Disconnect the batteries.
2. Remove right front gauge panel.
3. Disconnect wiring connector from the bail switch and remove the bail switch. The switch will not be reused.
4. Connect 3E0109 Plug As. to bail switch wiring connector.
5. See Illustration #1 for splicing Harness As. 148-7570 to existing cab harness.
NOTE: Do not remove 366PK Wire from cushion hitch switch connector, only splice into 366PK.
6. Install Switch As. 139-2114 in right gauge panel and connect to Harness As. 148-7570.
7. Connect 106-9188 Control Group to Harness As. 148-7550 and secure control group to existing cab harness with 7K1181 Strap.
8. Remove right side gauge panel, shift console.
9. Route 148RD Wire through right side dash cavity, go out at cab floor with cab harness and run under Plate As. 5T1265 to fuse box and connect per Illustration #1.
10. Install right side gauge panel, shift console and right front gauge panel.
11. Connect batteries.
