NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS5318" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The 6Y3484 Bearing and/or 7X7608 Retaining Ring that locate the planet carrier in the low gear train may fail in certain 950F Series II and 960F Wheel Loaders. As contingent damage, gears in low gear train (ring gear, sun gear and planet gears) may be damaged or broken. Clutch discs and plates and other bearings may be damaged by metal contamination of the oil. A new bearing needs to be installed.

Action Required
Remove the transmission from the machine. Disassemble the transmission completely for damage assessment. Rebuild using a new 1434642 Bearing (replacing the 6Y3484 Bearing that failed) and other new parts as required due to damage. Be sure to use a new 7X7608 Retaining Ring with J-notched ends. Test the rebuilt transmission, clean the lines and system components remaining in the machine. If the transmission oil cooler core needs to be replaced, use a remanufactured core. Install the transmission into vehicle.
