NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS8953" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Some customers have complained that the implement control single lever on the 953C Loaders requires more than desired effort to move. The affected group is 124-4683 Single Lever Control Group and the 124-4686 "Third" Valve, when installed.

Action Required
Parts Stock
Rework (bend) all 124-2878 Levers in Parts Stock as shown in the Illustration.
Affected Product
Lengthen the 126-2877 Lever Assembly; remove the 3V1974 Handle, install the 136-8599 Round, and reinstall the handle.
For machine with "third" valve (ripper and/or mp bucket), the 124-2878 Lever must be bent to the new dimension as shown in the Illustration or replace it with a 124-2878 Lever with 25 mm offset.

Submit one claim for all levers in Parts Stock that were bent to the new dimension.
