Inlet Air Temperature Sensor - Remove and Install

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Disconnect harness assembly (2).
- Remove inlet air temperature sensor (1) from air inlet elbow (3).
- Remove the O-ring seal from the inlet air temperature sensor.

- Install a new O-ring seal on the inlet air temperature sensor. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
- Install inlet air temperature sensor (1) in air inlet elbow (3). Tighten inlet air temperature sensor (1) to a torque of
20 N·m (15 lb ft) . - Connect harness assembly (2).
