Note: The oil supply and the oil drain holes should be in the vertical position with respect to the engine when the turbocharger is attached to the exhaust manifold.

(1) Clamps

Tighten the clamp for the turbine housing to the following torque. ... 14 ± 1 N·m (10.0 ± 1.0 lb ft)
Tighten the clamp for the compressor housing to the following torque. ... 10.2 ± 0.7 N·m (7.52 ± 0.52 lb ft)

(2) Wastegate

Opening pressure of the wastegate ... 152 kPa (22.0 psi)

Note: Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the stud threads on the exhaust manifold before assembly of the turbocharger.

Tighten the nuts that fasten the turbocharger to the exhaust manifold to the following torque. ... 54 ± 5 N·m (40 ± 4 lb ft)
