CPT372 Truck Mounted Pumper Caterpillar

Product Description

Usage:

CPT372 1WZ
The CPT372 Truck Mounted Pumper is a pumping unit which is designed for applications that require low horsepower. The pumping unit is mounted on a truck chassis. A C-10 engine that is mounted on the deck of the chassis provides power to one of the two triplex pumps. The other triplex pump uses the truck engine to provide power. The triplex pumps deliver a slurry of cement to a well at high pressure and variable rate. The pumping unit has an operator control console that controls the operation of the pumping unit.

C-10 Engine

The engine is equipped with the following features:

  • Single-stage, dry air cleaner with service indicator

  • A stainless steel muffler, flexible exhaust fitting assembly and rain cap

  • Air compressor

  • 24 Volt 60 Amp Alternator

Lubrication Systems

Power End Lubrication

The power end lubrication system provides lubrication for the triplex pump's crankshaft and the triplex pump's crossheads. The power end lubrication system is driven by a hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump is mounted on the auxiliary drive of the transmission. The power end lubrication system is active when the deck engine is operating. A 95 L (25 US gal) oil reservoir is located in the triplex pump's crankcase. The oil reservoir supplies oil to the hydraulic system.

Fluid End Lubrication

The fluid end lubrication system provides lubrication for the packing of the triplex pump. The lubrication system is an air over the top of oil type. The system is driven by air pressure.

The lubrication system includes the following components:

  • Solenoid valve

  • Pressure regulator

  • Flow divider valve

  • Flow control valve

  • Check valves

  • Relief valve

  • Liquid filled pressure gauge

  • Carbon steel catch tank

The carbon steel catch tank has a drain valve on the bottom of the tank. The oil drain is located under the triplex pump's pistons. Oil drains into a carbon steel catch tank that is located at the right rear of the truck. The carbon steel catch tank should be drained regularly.

Cooling Systems

The cooling systems on the CPT372 Truck Mounted Pumper consist of the following cooling circuits:

  • The deck engine's jacket water is cooled by a conventional radiator that is vertically mounted. The engine water pump circulates the jacket water.

  • The transmission oil is cooled by a heat exchanger that is mounted below the radiator of the deck engine. The torque converter pump for the transmission circulates the transmission oil.

  • The hydraulic system oil is cooled by a radiator oil cooler that is mounted in front of the deck engine's radiator.
