DAY MODE/NIGHT MODE Button

(1) DAY MODE/NIGHT MODE hotkey button

  1. Press the DAY MODE/NIGHT MODE button to toggle between the following screens:

    • Day Mode: Gray background with black text

    • Night Mode: Black background with white text

The Information Display can also be changed from day mode to night mode by switching the machine’s headlights ON and OFF.

MACHINE STABILITY (HOIST) Button

Stance Monitor Page

Note: This page is available in both Day Mode and Night Mode.

Note: To configure the machine’s stability feature, refer to the following section in this manual:

  1. Press the MACHINE STABILITY (HOIST) button. The Machine Stability Stance Monitor page will appear.

Note: If the Body Position Angle is above five (5) degrees and the hoist has been raised, the Information Display will automatically show the Stance Monitor page.

Note: The above function will not occur when the machine’s gear is set to REVERSE.

When the Machine Front Side Slope is faulted, the Machine Front Roll Slide gauge (3) should remove the indicator mark from the slide bar and show asterisks "***".

The Machine Slope Status Indicator is used to represent the machine being on a slope. The Machine Slope will change between symbols depending on the grade of the machine.

There are three (3) versions of the icon.

Machine Pointing Downhill Icon
If the value of the Machine Slope is -5% or less, the icon is shown with the machine pointing downhill.

Machine Flat/Level Icon
If the value of the Machine Slope is greater than -5% and less than 5%, the icon is shown with the machine on level ground. When the Machine Slope is faulted, the Machine Slope Percentage reading should show asterisks "***” and the Machine Slope icon will appear flat.

Machine Pointing Uphill Icon
If the value of the Machine Slope is 5% or more, the icon is shown with the machine pointing uphill.

The value shown under the icon is capped at -99% to 99%. No decimal points are shown.

When the Machine Rear Side Slope is faulted, Machine Rear Roll Slide gauge should remove the indicator mark from the slide bar, and display "***".

When the machine’s Body Position Angle is faulted, the Body Angle degree reading (6) should show "***".

Note: Except when the machine is in reverse gear, the Information Display will automatically show the Machine Stability (Hoist) when:

  • The body position angle is above five (5) degrees.

  • The hoist output value is “Raise”.

Note: The DAY MODE/NIGHT MODE feature is available.

  1. Press the PAYLOAD button (7). The Payload Performance Page will appear. The Category for Navigation hotkey buttons will change to Menu Navigation hotkey buttons.

The Payload Performance Page has the following Menu Navigation hotkey buttons:

The default Payload Performance Page is the Normal Indication page.

There are three (3) other Payload Performance Pages:

  • Carry Back Indication

  • Truck Weight Faulted Indication

  • Overload Indication

(10) Payload Weight will appear in asterisks "***".

When the Payload Performance Page is in the Carry Back Indication Mode, the Performance Percentage Gauge (8) is not visible. The Payload Weight (10) will appear in asterisks "***".

Truck Weight Faulted Mode

When the Payload Performance Page is in the Truck Weight Faulted Mode, the Performance Percentage Gauge (8) is not visible. The Payload Weight (10) will show a fault icon.

Overload Indication Mode

When the Payload Performance Page is in the Overload Indication Mode, the machine’s payload is over its weight limit.

The Performance Percentage Gauge (8) is red. This shows that the load percentage is at or over 95%.

The Payload Weight (10) will show a red background behind the reading.

Material ID (Identification) Selection Page

  2. Press the RESET button (28). The RESET confirmation page will appear.

Rear Camera

Note: The Rear Camera must be installed.

Note: The Rear Camera screen will appear after the Cat® Display Information Screen and before the Performance Page 1.

(29) Rear Camera hotkey button

  1. To turn on the Rear Camera, press the Rear Camera hotkey button (29) located on the left side of the Information Display.

  2. To enhance the safety around the machine, the Information Display will provide a visual and audible indication when radar detects an object.

(30) CAMERA LINE ACTIVATION button

Note: When the machine is in REVERSE gear, only the HORIZONTAL CAMERA LINE ACTIVATION button is visible.

Press the CAMERA LINE ACTIVATION button (30) to activate the Camera Line (32) from the screen. The camera line can be used as a reference line.

Once the camera line has been activated, the CAMERA LINE ACTIVATION button (30) changes to the CAMERA LINE button. The horizontal camera line is the default reference line.

  1. To activate the camera line, press the CAMERA LINE button (32). Press the button again to change the camera line between horizontal and vertical.

    Note: The UP and DOWN Arrow buttons are visible when the camera line is horizontal. The LEFT and RIGHT Arrow buttons are visible when the camera line is vertical.

  2. To move the Rear Camera line up, press the UP Arrow button (23).

  3. To move the Rear Camera line down, press the DOWN Arrow button (25).

  4. To move the Rear Camera view to the left, press the LEFT Arrow button (35).

  5. To move the Rear Camera view to the right, press the RIGHT Arrow button (36).

  6. To remove the camera line, press the ON/OFF button (33).

  7. Press the BACK button (17) to return to the previous page.

Note: When the machine is in REVERSE gear, the BACK button is not visible.
