Output Expansion

Several methods of output expansion are available for the control module.

Relay Output Expansion

A relay output expansion module is available. The expansion module connects to the configuration socket. The expansion module enables the control module to use eight additional relays on the relay module. This provides volt-free contacts for the customer connection. A maximum of 2 relay modules can be connected. The relay modules are identified as "A" and "B". The relay modules give a total of 16 extra configurable relay outputs.

Indicator Output Expansion

An indicator output expansion module is available. The indicator output expansion module connects to the configuration socket. The expansion module enables the control module to use eight additional indicators. This provides illumination of remote indicators up to 50 m (164 ft). A maximum of 2 of the indicator modules can be connected. The indicator modules are identified as "A" and "B". The indicator modules give a total of 16 extra indicator outputs.

It is possible to use a mix of the relay modules and the indicator modules in order to give both relay expansion and indicator expansion if required.

Input Expansion

It is possible to increase the number of available inputs that are monitored by utilizing a protection expansion/annunciator.
