Rotator Head Bolts - Inspect
- Stop the machine engine in order to prevent inadvertent movement of the work tool.
Note: The host machine must be equipped with a boom lowering control valve in order to perform this procedure. If the host machine is not equipped with a boom lowering control valve, contact your Verachtert dealer.
- Check the rotator head bolts (2) on the outer ring (1). If any bolts are missing the heads, replace all the bolts (2) in the outer ring (1) .

- Remove bolts (5) and washers (4). Remove cover plate (3) .

- Cover plate (3) must be removed in order to access rotator head bolts (6) in the inner ring (7). Only a few bolts will be accessible at a time.

- Check rotator head bolts (6) in the inner ring (7). If any bolts are missing the heads, replace all the bolts (6) in the inner ring (7) .
Note: The work tool can be rotated manually in order to view all of the rotator head bolts. Use a sufficiently long lever in order to rotate the work tool.

- Install cover plate (3) .
- Install washers (4) and bolts (5) .
