Note: Do not use lifting point (1) to lift the shear. Only use this lifting point to lift the jaw.

There are four lifting points that can be used to lift the shear. There are two lifting points (2) and two lifting points (3) on the shear. If the shear is upright, use lifting points (2). If the shear is on the side, use lifting points (3). In order to lift the shear, use cables, chains, or straps that are certified for lifting.

Tying Down the Shear

In order to tie down the shear, use cables, chains, or straps that are strong enough to secure the load. Use the lifting points to tie down the shear.
