NOTICE

Note: Use the locking device for the rotator only for transporting the shear.

When the shear is transported on the host machine, position the shear so the stick can be moved under the boom and the boom can be carried as low as possible.

When the shear is transported on another vehicle, the jaws of the shear should be closed. Position the shear flat on the bed of the vehicle.

Shears are equipped with a locking device (1) in order to lock the rotator. The locking device (1) prevents the upper housing from moving when the shear is transported. The location of the locking device (1) for each model is shown in the following illustration.

Rotate the shear until the device that locks the rotator is aligned. Install the locking device (1) for the rotator. Close the jaws of the shear.

Note: Before the shear is put back into operation, the locking device (1) must be removed.
