Gear and Bearing - Lubricate

Note: Clean the fittings before you lubricate the fittings in order to prevent contamination.

  • Lubricate fittings (1) for the rotation motors with 2 to 3 pumps of grease.

    1. Lubricate fittings (2) for the gear and the bearing with 2 to 3 pumps of grease.

    1. Rotate the shear for 90 degrees. Repeat steps 1 and 2.

    1. Repeat steps 1 through 3 three times. The shear must be rotated 90 degrees when lubricant is added to the fittings (1) and (2) .

    1. Rotate the shear for an additional 90 degrees in order to distribute the grease evenly.

    Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "General Maintenance Information" for lubrication information.
