Number 4 LED is Blinking - Troubleshoot

This condition indicates that there is a problem with the infrared measuring track.

Indication of the Condition

  • The red number 4 LED is flashing.

  • No other LED is illuminated.

Probable Causes

  • The infrared measuring track is faulty.

  • The electronic module is faulty.

Recommended Repairs

  1. Clean the glass of the infrared filters. For instructions, see the Systems Operation, "Maintenance Schedule".

  1. After the glass of the infrared filters is clean, press the "RESET" button.

    Expected Result

    The number 4 indicator is no longer flashing.

    Results

    OK - The detector is operating normally.

    Not OK - The fault is still occurring.

    Repair

    Replace the electronic module. Follow the instructions in the Testing and Adjusting, "Repair Procedure" section. After the electronic module has been replaced, test the performance of the detector. See the Testing and Adjusting, "Performance Tests".
