Number 9 LED is Blinking - Troubleshoot
This condition indicates that the temperature of the electronic module is less than 0 °C (32 °F).

- The red number 9 LED is flashing.
- No other LED is illuminated.
Probable Causes
- The ventilation in the engine compartment is blowing cold air onto the detector.
Recommended Repairs
- Direct the air from the ventilation away from the detector.
- After the ventilation is redirected, press the "RESET" button.
Expected Result
The number 9 LED is no longer flashing. The detector is operating normally.
Results
OK - The detector is operating normally.
Not OK - Reset the system again. Troubleshoot any active faults.
