Number 7 LED is Blinking - Troubleshoot

This condition indicates that there is a problem with the "RESET" button.

  • The red number 7 LED is flashing.

  • No other LED is illuminated.

Probable Causes

  • The "RESET" button is stuck.

  • The measuring head is faulty.

Recommended Repairs

  1. Remove the obstruction from the "RESET" button. After the "RESET" button is free, press the "RESET" button.

    Expected Result

    The number 7 LED is no longer flashing. The detector is operating normally.

    Results

    OK - The detector is operating normally.

    Not OK - The "RESET" button is not stuck. However, the fault is still active. The measuring head is faulty.

    Repair

    Replace the measuring head.
