Number 5 LED is Blinking - Troubleshoot
This condition indicates that there is a problem with the "Alarm Level" switch.
Indication of the Condition

- The red number 5 LED is flashing.
- No other LED is illuminated.
Probable Causes
- The "Alarm Level" switch is faulty.
Recommended Repairs
- Replace the electronic module. For instructions, see the Testing and Adjusting, "Repair Procedure" section.
- After the electronic module has been replaced, test the performance of the detector. See the Testing and Adjusting, "Performance Tests".
Expected Result
The number 5 LED is no longer flashing. The detector is operating normally.
Results
OK - The detector is operating normally.
Not OK - Reset the system again. Troubleshoot any active faults.
Note: The number 6 LED is not used for faults. This is a spare indicator.
