Number 10 LED is Blinking - Troubleshoot
This condition indicates that the ambient temperature is greater than 70 °C (158 °F).

- The red number 10 LED is flashing.
- No other LED is illuminated.
Probable Causes
- Heat is radiating onto the detector.
Recommended Repairs
- Direct the source of heat away from the detector or protect the detector from the source of heat.
- Make sure that the ventilation in the engine room is adequate.
- Make sure that the supply of fresh air to the detector is not excessively heated.
- After the source of heat is controlled, press the "RESET" button.
Expected Result
The number 10 LED is no longer flashing. The detector is operating normally.
Results
OK - The detector is operating normally.
Not OK - Reset the system again. Troubleshoot any active faults.
