1. Install check valve (25). Tighten check valve (25) to a torque of 8 N·m (71 lb in). Use Tooling (A) to install check valve (24). Tighten check valve (24) to a torque of 3 N·m (27 lb in). Install fitting (23). Repeat for the remaining fittings and check valves.

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury. To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.

2. Install spools (20), (22), and (17). Install washers (21) and (16). Install O-ring seals (13) and (19). Install springs (14) and (18). Install covers (11) and (12). Tighten covers (11) and (12) to a torque of 90 N·m (66 lb ft). Install O-ring seals (15) .

3. Install O-ring seals (5) and (7) and backup rings (4) and (6). Install O-ring seals (8), (9), and (10) .

4. Install cartridge assembly (1). Tighten cartridge assembly (1) to a torque of 30 N·m (22 lb ft). Install solenoid (2) and nut (3). Tighten nut (3) to a torque of 2.7 N·m (24 lb in).

5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the remaining solenoid valve.

End By: Install the control valve for joystick steering. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Medium Pressure) - Install".
