Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the control valve for joystick steering. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Medium Pressure) - Remove".

1. Remove nut (3), solenoid (2), and cartridge assembly (1) .

2. Remove O-ring seals (8), (9), and (10). Remove O-ring seals (5) and (7). Remove backup rings (4) and (6) .

3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the remaining solenoid valve.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

4. Remove covers (11) and (12). Remove springs (14) and (18). Remove O-ring seals (13) and (19). Remove washers (21) and (16). Remove spools (20), (22), and (17). Remove O-ring seals (15) .

5. Remove fitting (23). Use Tooling (A) to remove check valve (24). Remove check valve (25). Repeat for the remaining fittings and check valves.
