Alternator - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the seat. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Seat - Remove and Install".
- Disconnect the negative battery cable (1). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery or Battery Cable - Inspect/Replace".

- Remove cover assemblies (2) .

- Disconnect harness assemblies (3). Remove bolts (4) and alternator (5) .

Installation Procedure
- Position alternator (5) and install bolts (4). Connect harness assemblies (3) .

- Install cover assemblies (2) .
