Piston Cooling Jet

(1) Cylinder wall
(2) Tighten the piston cooling jet for number one cylinder to the following torque: ... 27 N·m (20 lb ft)
Note: Ensure that the piston cooling jet is positioned correctly on the dowel in the cylinder block (not shown).
(3) Use a rod with a diameter of 1.70 mm (0.067 inch) in order to check the alignment of the piston cooling jet. The rod must extend beyond the top of the cylinder.
(4) Diameter of circle ... 14.00 mm (0.550 inch)
