Generator Oil Level - Check
More information is needed for this topic. This publication requires a recommendation for the proper oil to use.
- Ensure that the oil level gauge is seated. Then remove the gauge and observe the oil level. Maintain the oil level to the "FULL" mark.

Illustration 2 g00641776 Location of the oil filler for the generator - If necessary, remove the oil filler cap and pour oil into the oil filler tube. Do not fill the oil pan above the "FULL" mark on the oil level gauge. Clean the filler cap and install the cap.
- Record the amount of oil that is added. For the next oil sample and analysis, include the total amount of oil that has been added since the previous oil change. This will help to provide the most accurate oil analysis.
