BrakeSaver Troubleshooting

Usage:

3406E 1LW
There are two operational checks that do not require special equipment. One check is the “Pull-Down RPM Check”. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "BrakeSaver Pull-Down RPM Check" for more information. This check is used to verify that the BrakeSaver can give a full braking force. The other check is the “Klunk Check”. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "BrakeSaver Klunk Check (Free Movement of the Valve Spool)" for more information. This check is used to verify that the valve spool in the BrakeSaver control valve has free movement. These two checks will indicate that the BrakeSaver is operating correctly.
