Lubricate the seals (not shown) of the new fuel filter (3) with clean fuel. The retaining ring (2) secures the fuel filter to the fuel filter base (1). The retaining ring (2) is hand tightened only.
Check the O-ring seals (not shown) of the sediment bowl (4). The sediment bowl is hand tightened only.
Note: To open the drain (5), turn the drain plug counterclockwise.
